Pigeon in Pyjamas ( blue), free standing limited edition textile sculpture.

Let me introduce you to my pigeon in pyjamas a  brand new design for 2025 for my early summer collection, making  this pigeon has been an utter joy and I hope that she brings you as much joy as she has me.

Currently an edition of only 2 are available one blue and one pink.

Her body has been hand and machine stitched from calico, each feather is hand cut from leather scraps, remnants and vintage leather jackets then layered one by one to create the pigeon head,  her beautiful dressing gown is from a vintage quilted broderie Anglaise fabric complete with cotton pj's and pom pom slippers.

Her birdhouse is hand made from card with hand painted details.

She is mounted on a plywood varnished base.

Created from many old things into something very new.

 She measures around 36cm tall.
